Another day, another dollar

I really don't think the weekend could have been any lovelier. Yesterday's church service was grand, such a joyful celebration, and dinner was quite yummy. I did my taxes and found out that I'm getting a pretty large refund. We played games and did facials and went for a sunset flight around Mount Pleasant (I even got to ride in the front!).

Even with all that, this morning I woke up in a lousy mood (I think it had to do with a sad dream I had, combined with the thought of my lovely weekend being over). But after a hug from Mommy, I got ready for work early (a rare pleasure), ate a good breakfast, and drove to work enjoying my new James Taylor CD and a Dr. Pepper. You just can't be sad with all that. By the time I got here, I felt grand.

I think I'm going to go to the church's choir rehearsal this week. After watching them this weekend, I really want to be a part of it. Their repertoire is lovely, and I really miss singing, especially in a choral setting. It can't hurt to give it a try.

I wish I had more to do at work. These days go by so slowly.

I'm glad you had a good weekend! How was Marie Antoinette?

Marie Antoinette was a little slow paced, but visually stunning. I'd watch it again.
